Five Reasons Why You Should and Should Not Comment
![]()
One Bad Comment, Yes one bad comment and you can loose your friend. I am saying this with my personal experience that I learn over the time. I did this mistake once and I loose one of my best buddy and some other guys associated with him (who also criticize me for making things unpleasant) so while you make any comment on blog you have to keep few things intact in your mind. These are my views on comments, your may be different from mine, if they are I would certainly like to hear from you. Please write it down below in comment form.
Five reasons why you should not comment on blogs
[1] Don’t Comment when you have nothing to say
Despite of this fact people comment on blogs just like Great, Good, Nice Post etc. This is nothing but just showing that you are selfish person and need only a back link from that link which you leave while commenting, and you don’t anything great to express.
[2] Discuss and not Dispute
You can discuss your views on the post in form of comments and if possible by replying in threaded comments but don’t just force everybody there to accept your view and don’t mess up with the whole topic.
[3] Don’t comment just to include your name in TOP COMMENTATOR list
People are over smart, when they see top commentator widget installed on certain blog they instantly look at the bottom for bearing in mind how many comments has been made by that last commentator in that list. If lets say comments made by the bottom last commentator are five then they will pick up six latest posts and start commenting as fast as a derby horse. Are you serious? Are you really making any point up there?
[4] People don’t love annoying comments
Please do not ruin someone’s pleasant morning. Please do not make any comment that burn up the ass of that hard working blog publisher. Be respectful to others. Make value addition to the topic. Be sensible learn the art of saying harsh words politely. Articulate your sayings. Make some points in your comments and don’t be noisy all the time.
[5] Don’t use comment as traffic generating tools
80% of blogger visit back to your site via link which you create while commenting but don’t just use commenting as traffic generating tool. Believe me there are other more good tools are available for that purpose.
Five reasons why you should comment on blogs
[1] Comment even if you have very little to say
Now this is very interesting, your small little encouraging word will definitely boost up the moral of blog publisher. Even if you have not enough time to make solid comment just leave a small message that you like that post. That’s it.
[2] Discuss the topic and create dispute if you can
Mingle with the big boy, make noise and make your point listen by all the people in the forum or in a post comment. There is this kid named Neil Patel who says if you want to rich? then start talking shit. Spill and spread around your logics. Be there and try to hit the blogsphere hard, prove your existence.
[3] Try to be in the TOP COMMENTATOR list
This is the only way thru which you can have quality back link from big boy’s blog. Always visit there and make some good comments. Now tell me if by commenting and including your name in to the top commentator list your blog can get that extra edge, recognition and quality link then why you should not do that? It’s not a big SIN.
[4] People love all kind of comments
Don’t hesitate that your comment will annoy somebody; people love to see comments on their blog. Go ahead guys and say whatever you wish, it’s a free world, don’t forget the administrator or publisher always has this choice to delete or moderate your comments so why hesitate in expressing your view - harsh or straight.
[5] Comments to generate traffic
If comments can generate good traffic and help you winning some unique visitor to your site then what is the big deal in using commenting as a traffic tool. Do whatever you wish to boost some extra traffic to your site whether it is thru commenting or by any other mean for that matter.
Conclusion
Now you are definitely searching for me to kill. The reasons I give you for not commenting on blogs are the same for commenting on blog, that mean there is no hard and fast rule that govern commenting on blogs. In the real world you always use some rationale for doing or not doing anything, so you are the better judge in deciding what to do and what not to do while commenting. But yes be sincere and be real while commenting on blogs.
